Moving Wallpaper is a British satirical comedy-drama television series set in a TV production unit. It ran on ITV for two series in 2008–2009. The subject of the first series was the production of a soap called Echo Beach, each episode of which aired directly after the Moving Wallpaper episode about its production. The second series was based around the production of a "zombie show" called Renaissance. Ben Miller confirmed in May 2009 on his Twitter account that no further series will be made. The title, "Moving Wallpaper", is a disparaging term applied to uninspiring TV shows, or to television in general, referring to the perception that modern television viewers are "mindless absorbers of images", as if staring at wallpaper.

Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig is a Philippine drama that airs on GMA Network. This is the fourth instalment of Sine Novela. The original movie was released back in 1987. For the TV remake of the movie GMA negotiated with Viva films that they would keep the elements of the old movie but use the comic elements of Pablo Gomez to make the story more fitting for its TV remake.

Inspired by the characters of Lot Pot Comics, Motu Patlu is a lively comic caper for the kids as well as the entire family. Set in the beautiful city of Furfuri Nagariya, the story is about Motu and Patlu, who are as similar as chalk and cheese. The Awesome Twosome are always on an adventurous expedition and have an uncanny ability to get into tricky situations every single day! It was premiered on 16 October 2012, beginning with the episode "John Banega Don". It focuses on two friends, Motu and Patlu, living in the fictional city Furfuri Nagar.

Tripper's Day is a British television sitcom produced by Thames Television for ITV. The plot involved Leonard Rossiter as Norman Tripper, a Northern manager assigned to a London supermarket with a problematic staff. The programme is largely remembered for the negative critical reviews it received, and mainly for the fact that it was Rossiter's final television work, the actor dying between the broadcast of the second and third episodes. The series was brought back two years later with Bruce Forsyth in the lead role, under the new title Slinger's Day. In Canada and United States the series had a remake under the title Check it Out!, whilst in Sweden, comical duo Stefan & Krister starred in Full Frys, a TV series largely based on Tripper's Day and Check it Out!.

The Thorn Birds is a 2011 South Korean television series where one woman forsakes her love and family for her ambition while another woman embraces with love all that the former had left behind. Fates of a bit part actress Seo Jung-eun and a film producer Han Yoo-kyung who chose success are intertwined and resolved gradually as their mutual stories progress. The "thorn birds" of the title refers to Jung-eun's character, who only brings out her best at the cost of great pain. A thornbird is a mythical bird who searches for a thorn tree from the day it is born. When it finds it, the bird impales itself upon the sharpest thorn, and rises above the agony to sing the most beautiful song ever heard.

Hot metal is a London Weekend Television sitcom about the British Newspaper industry broadcast between 1986 and 1988. Throughout the first series, a running plot involved cub reporter Bill Tytla gradually uncovering an actual newsworthy story that went to the very heart of government. Written by David Renwick and Andrew Marshall, it is very much a continuation in style from their previous sitcom Whoops Apocalypse!. It was produced by Humphrey Barclay.
