Two teams of three with a rotating roster of stars compete in over-the-top physical challenges, absurd trivia and epic field competitions. Each week, one team will be crowned the winner, while the losing team must “take the L” in an embarrassing punishment.

Ciao Darwin is a variety game show format from Italy sold under licence to several countries, including Romania, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Canada, USA, China and Greece. There are two competing teams of about 50 people each, usually made up of people who fit certain opposing stereotypes. In each game two members of the audience are selected at random, one from each team, indicated by a light in front of them which remains illuminated when all the other team members' lights have gone off. Dotto is an American television quiz show which aired on CBS from January 6 to August 15, 1958 and was hosted by Jack Narz. Although it quickly became the highest-rated daytime game show on television, its end came when it became the unexpected first casualty – and ignition – of the quiz show scandals that rocked American broadcasting as the 1950s closed.

In this game of reasoning and smarts, teams comprised of six people who all know each other – co-workers, friends, teammates, etc. – will need to tackle a series of logic-based questions. The more questions the team answers correctly, the more money they will earn towards a grand prize, potentially earning them $1 million.

In each episode, four strangers join forces to give unanimous answers to general knowledge questions. The longer the team takes to respond, the lower the cash prize. At the end of each episode, the participants must also divide the accumulated money into three unequal shares, again unanimously. To pocket as much money as possible, players have to be as convincing as they are clever, because every second counts!
