I have always been drawn to stories and documentaries about extreme weather, just as I have enjoyed watching documentaries or reading books about mountaineering or polar exploration.
This mini-series does a credible job of mixing science, survival stories and other elements while discussing Volcanoes, tornadoes, hurricanes and earthquakes. In fact, I am more interested in tsunamis than I am earthquakes, but this show focused more on the latter so that was fine. They did focus on survival stories of a few people and it wasn’t very detailed. for example, I have lways been intrigued that before the tsunami strikes, water is temporarily suctioned away from the place bout to be slammed by it. There was no mention of this phenomenon in the description of events.
So there was plenty of scientific and anecdotal information offered concerning these types of weather events, along with descriptions of what the fire might hold
