"Rownd a Rownd" (Round and Round) is a Welsh-language soap opera on S4C, targeting a youth audience. Launched in 1995, it follows the lives of young people in school and at home. The series was created with the help of Phil Redmond, a renowned TV producer. Filmed in Menai Bridge, Anglesey, it features a set of fake shops and local schools and hospitals. The show concluded with dramatic storylines, including a family eviction, a breakup, and a character's possible death.

General Hospital is a British daytime soap produced by ATV, which ran on ITV from 1972 to 1979. It was modelled after the American drama of the same name. In 1975, after 270 twice-weekly episodes, General Hospital was given a primetime slot on Friday evening. The move saw the episodes double from 30 to 60 minutes, with each being more self-contained, while on-screen medical procedures, including detailed scenes of surgery, became more prominent. In a fictional Midlands town, the series follows the romantic and professional lives of its doctors and nurses. While the location and the characters names had been changed, in most other respects, General Hospital was almost identical to its predecessor, Emergency - Ward 10, a deliberate attempt to recreate its success.

Emergency: Ward 10 is a British television soap shown on ITV between 1957 and 1967. Like The Grove Family, a series shown by the BBC between 1954 and 1957, Emergency: Ward 10 is considered to be one of British television's first major soap operas. Set in Oxbridge General Hospital, this soap opera focused equally on the lives and loves of its medical staff and the pressure of their work.

P. S. I Love You is the TV sequel of the 1981 movie itself starred by Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta. It is a Filipino drama / Romance series offered by TV5 and Viva Television. This primetime series is led by Gabby Concepcion, Dina Bonnevie, Alex Gonzaga, Kean Cipriano, AJ Muhlach and Nadine Lustre. It aired Mondays to Fridays from November 21, 2011 to February 17, 2012 after Glamorosa. The TV series is a sequel to the 1981 film that originally starred by Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion. The role of Kristine now eventually goes to Dina Bonnevie. It is produced by Vic Del Rosario, Jr. and Manuel V. Pangilinan. It marks as the second primetime series produced by Viva Television for TV5 after a decade. The TV series garnered positive reviews throughout the run for Philippine Entertainment Critics.

The Doctors is a British television drama produced by the BBC. Hawkins Falls, Population 6200 is the first successful American television soap opera. Sponsored by Unilever's blue detergent, Surf, the program began as a one hour comedy-drama on June 17, 1950, and ran in prime time on the NBC network until October 12, 1950. On April 2, 1951, the series was moved to a fifteen-minute daytime slot, where it was retitled Hawkins Falls: A Television Novel, and developed into a soap opera format. Hawkins Falls ran until July 1, 1955, making it NBC's longest running soap opera until The Doctors exceeded it in 1967. The town of Hawkins Falls was patterned after the real-life town of Woodstock, Illinois.

Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten is a long-running German television soap opera, first broadcast on RTL in 1992. The programme concerns the lives of a fictional neighborhood in Germany's capital city Berlin. Over the years the soap opera tends to have an overhaul of young people in their late teens and early twenties; targeting a young viewership.

Jupiter Moon was a science fiction television series first broadcast by British Satellite Broadcasting's Galaxy Channel from 26 March 1990 until December the same year. 150 episodes were commissioned, but only the first 108 were broadcast by BSB. It was commissioned to fulfill the perceived need for a soap opera in BSB's line-up and, as such, it was shown three times a week, with an omnibus edition at weekends. In the year 2050, the spaceship Ilea lies in semi-permanent orbit above the space city on Jupiter's moon Callisto. The Ilea is home to a university and many of the main plot strands revolve around the students, helping the programme to deal with more mundane issues despite its far-flung setting. A secondary plot deals with an attempt to travel to the stars known as the Daedalus Project.

Salatut elämät (Secret Lives) is a Finnish television soap opera that premiered on MTV3 on 25 January 1999. The series' storylines follow the daily lives of several families who live in the same apartment block in Helsinki.

The search for love and redemption... Helena is a former secretary of António Fontes Morais’s who cunningly managed to get married to her boss, thus earning the title of a trophy wife. Together, they had two children: Tomás and Camila. Their firstborn is a playboy who has been living in the United States and Camila is a spoiled young woman who spends her days spending money and on her phone. The family enjoys a lavish lifestyle, but António doesn’t go without a driver and armed security since his brother Fausto was murdered, leaving his son Miguel under the care of his aunt and uncle. Helena’s hatred for the Rocha family has grown as much as the cousins Tomás and Miguel's love for Laura. So, without realizing, the nurse sees herself in the middle of a love triangle that will undermine the harmony between the Fontes Morais and Rocha families. Still, Verónica, who is totally in love with Tomás, and Helena will resort to any means necessary in order to get rid of Laura.

Coralito, is a Puerto Rican telenovela produced by Telemundo. The main characters were played by Sully Díaz and Salvador Pineda. Díaz played the character of Coralito. The telenovela played in 1983. Ednita Nazario performed the theme song of the telenovela titled Mi Pequeño Amor, by Argentine composer, Laureano Brizuela.

Inspired on Jorge Amado's romance "Tieta do Agreste", the plot is set on the fictional city of Santana do Agreste, at Brazil's northwest, and has as main theme Tieta's life turnarounds. Twenty-five years after being chased out of town by her father Zé Esteves, she returns to her home town seeking revenge against everyone who mistreated her and laugh at her face in the past.

Dancin' Days is a Portuguese soap opera which began airing on SIC in June 2012.
