The Earth has been targeted for invasion by the alien Cthuwulf. A young girl, Nagisa Kano, becomes the key to Earth's defense when she is forced to become the partner of Iczer-One, a lone rebel who is battling the alien invaders.

Kei and Yuri were originally junior auxiliary agents in the Worlds Works and Welfare Agency (W.W.W.A. or 3WA for short) when the two were paired together under the codename "Lovely Angels." Kei was coming off her fourth probation for something she had done, and Yuri's dating exploits were common knowledge, not to mention the two had an instant dislike for each other when they met. Just as they are going broke, Mocha contracts to steal a mystic dragon's head from the secluded temple of fire. When the trio finally escapes with the head, it speaks, offering a fortune for abandoning the contract and taking it to a different temple. Mocha readily agrees. They soon find themselves fighting their employer to prevent the end of the world.

Pete versus Life is a Channel 4 sitcom created by George Jeffrie and Bert Tyler-Moore. It stars Rafe Spall and the first episode was aired on 6 August 2010. It was recommissioned for a second series after averaging 1.6 million viewers and a young demographic during its first run, and series two started airing on 21 October 2011.

The "paranormal science" story follows nine idiosyncratic individuals, linked by the "Choujou Kagaku Kirikiri Basara" occult summary blog run by 17-year-old second-year high school student Yuuta Gamon. Little incongruities that occur around these nine eventually lead to a larger, unimaginable event that may alter what is considered common sense in this world.
