Francis X. Bushman

Francis Xavier Bushman (January 10, 1883 – August 23, 1966) was an American actor, film director, and screenwriter. His matinee idol career started in 1911 in the silent film His Friend's Wife, but it did not survive the silent screen era. Bushman, like many of his contemporaries, broke into the film business via the stage. He was performing at Broncho Billy Anderson's Essanay Studios in Chicago, Illinois, where he was first noticed for his muscular, sculpted frame. He appeared in nearly 200 feature film roles—more than 175 films before 1920, and 17 in his screen debut year of 1911 alone. He also worked for the Vitagraph studio before signing with Metro in 1915. Loukianos Kilaidonis

Biography

Loukianos Kilaidonis (July 15, 1943 – February 7, 2017) was a Greek composer, lyricist and performer. He was born in Kypseli (Athens) on July 15, 1943, originally from Kefalonia. He studied at the Leonteio Lykeio Patision and then Architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as at the National Technical University (Athens), without ever practicing the profession. He was married to actress Anna Vagena, with whom he had two daughters. In 1999, the two created a music scene, "Metaxourgeio", in which they appeared for a number of years. He passed away on February 7, 2017 at the age of 74 from heart failure.

Sir Thomas Sean Connery (August 25, 1930 – October 31, 2020) was a Scottish actor and producer who won an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards (one being a BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award), and three Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Henrietta Award. Connery was the first actor to portray the character James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. In 1988, Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables. His films also include Marnie (1964), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Man Who Would Be King (1975), A Bridge Too Far (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996), and Finding Forrester (2000). Connery was polled in a 2004 The Sunday Herald as "The Greatest Living Scot" and in a 2011 EuroMillions survey as "Scotland's Greatest Living National Treasure". He was voted by People magazine as both the “Sexiest Man Alive" in 1989 and the "Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. He received a lifetime achievement award in the United States with a Kennedy Center Honor in 1999. Connery was knighted in the 2000 New Year Honours for services to film drama. Joshua S. Bischof

Biography

Before beginning his career in filmmaking, Joshua S. Bischof spent much of his life traveling and working on humanitarian aid missions in Asia. Through this work and travel he developed a passion for telling authentic human stories, and then took that passion to film school in Kona, Hawaii. After completing film school he taught in the school for two years, mentoring film students in writing, producing, directing, and editing their short films. While in Hawaii Joshua wrote and directed numerous short films and worked on a number of feature films such as The Heart of Man and the award-winning Midori in Hawaii. These experiences taught him that skilled craftsmanship can create a film that outshines its budget. Recently he wrote and directed two independent international feature films: the award-winning feature documentary Burn With Us and the feature film Zwielichts Pilgrim. Through these and his future films, Joshua aims to tell stories that bring cast and crew together as collaborators, to create art that both challenges and elevates audiences.

From Wikipedia, Free Online Encyclopedia: Kehinde Babatunde Victor Oladipo (born May 4, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers, where he was named the Sporting News Men's College Basketball Player of the Year, the Co-NABC Defensive Player of the Year, and a first-team All-American by the USBWA and Sporting News. That year he was also named the winner of the Adolph Rupp Trophy, given annually to the top player in men's NCAA Division I basketball. Oladipo was drafted with the second overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic and went on to be named to the NBA All-Rookie first team. He was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2016, and then traded to the Pacers in 2017. He became a first-time NBA All-Star, led the league in steals, was named to the All-Defensive First Team and the All-NBA Third Team, and won the NBA Most Improved Player Award in his first season with Indiana. Despite an injury-riddled 2018–19 season, including a season-ending injury in January 2019, Oladipo was named an Eastern Conference reserve for the second straight year.

Christopher Adams, best known as "Gentleman" Chris Adams, was an English professional wrestler, wrestling promoter, trainer, and judoka. By age 21, he was a three-time British National Judo Champion in his age and weight classes. In professional wrestling, Adams gained his greatest success in World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), where he became the promotion's World Heavyweight Champion and one of its biggest stars. He also performed for companies such as World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and the Universal Wrestling Association (UWA), where he held WWE Light Heavyweight Championship. All totalled, he held 26 titles over a 23-year career. Adams is known for training wrestlers such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and for popularizing the superkick finishing move, which would later be used by many other performers.

Natalie Maria Cole (February 6, 1950 – December 31, 2015) was an American singer, songwriter, and performer. The daughter of Nat King Cole, Natalie rose to musical success in the mid–1970s as an R&B artist with the hits "This Will Be", "Inseparable", and "Our Love". After a period of failing sales and performances due to a heavy drug addiction, Cole re-emerged as a pop artist with the 1987 album Everlasting and her cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Pink Cadillac". In the 1990s, she re-recorded standards by her father, resulting in her biggest success, Unforgettable... with Love, which sold over seven million copies and also won Cole numerous Grammy Awards. She sold over 30 million records worldwide. On December 31, 2015, Cole died at the age of 65 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, due to congestive heart failure. From Wikipedia
