The first Afrikaans comedy series for television, about a bumbling private detective with a good heart and a talent for grabbing the wrong end of the stick. Willem would like nothing more than to be an average P.I. who focusses on simple divorce cases, but he keeps getting mixed up in more adventurous and dangerous affairs. His secretary Pennie is a kind, simple girl with her head in the clouds.

1986, Peru. Toño is an amateur singer, but above all, he is an impersonator of acclaimed salsa singer Héctor Lavoe. Toño has spent his entire life trying to meet his idol, he is very devoted to him and strongly believes that his songs were written for him. One day, Héctor Lavoe travels to Peru and Toño is about to make the impossible happen; he will meet him and finally break his streak of bad luck. An adventure that will involve meeting the President, sailing with mermaids, being surrounded by armed groups - So many obstacles, but it finally seems that it will be his lucky day.

A facetious donkey accompanies 30 traditional French songs and nursery rhymes. Handwritten text appears at the bottom of the screen. "Mon âne" is a series specially designed for small children, to learn to sing and read when you like to watch, listen and laugh.

Tony is determined to achieve honors from the imperial exam and restore the family's reputation. Lisa Lau, the daughter of the Minister of War (Pat Poon), sets her eyes on Brian and tries to seduce him. Jacqueline and Roxanne worry that they will lose their lovers if they achieve a high rank in the imperial exams, and vow to ruin their scholarly dreams. As the two pairs of lovers are about to break up, they get embroiled in a treasonous conspiracy.

Young parents Dave and Rebecca are ready to reclaim their lives after years of diapers and sleepless nights. However, things take an unexpected turn when Dave's parents show up unannounced and broke.
