46 years ago Kurihara Minoru (Fujiwara Tatsuya) went to the mountains to take pictures, but never returned. Fast forward to the present and he is discovered perfectly preserved in ice. He then miraculously wakes up. The head of the Kurihara household is now Kurihara Norihiko (Takahashi Katsumi), who is Minoru's son and 52 years old. Their family is set for upheaval as their grandfather (who still looks 25, but is now 71) returns to their home. At first Minoru can't act comfortably around his family, but as Minoru gets used to the change of times, their family comes around

'The Hedgehogs' are a group of youngsters who are trying to gain control of the empty space between the blocks of flats, which they want to convert into a basketball court. The resistance of the neighbors is soon overcome and the court is laid down. Training courses in basketball for kids are set up. The ambitious coach is selecting only those of the boys who are able to carry out his most absurd orders. Two of them happen to be late, so he immediately fires them from the team. Thus the 'hedgehogs' war' against the indifference of the adult breaks out.

28-year-old Keisuke has never had a girlfriend but posts about life with his fantasy girlfriend, Haru, on social networks. Then one day, his “ideal girl” Haru appears and she somehow behaves in the way that he fantasises. Keisuke gradually experiences a taste of romance. But is this situation imaginary? Or a reality?

Naoya Inaba (Yuto Nakajima) grew up abroad. From his childhood experience, he thought “yankees” were the strongest heroes (in Japan "yankee" refers to delinquent youths). He was also influenced by the Japanese yankee manga he read from abroad. Because of his own experiences and reading manga, he is full of chivalrous spirit. Naoya arrives in Japan to spend one year at a high school in Japan. He is transferred to a technical high school which is about to be closed down. Naoya admires the school because a yankee, who he admired as a child, went there, but he soon realizes that there are no real yankee like hero figures. There are only students who spends there days meaninglessly. Naoya is disappointed, but he happens to play water polo.

Tsuji Eriko, who is the ace in her cosmetics company’s public relations division, always gets the man she targets. She has the contact details of hundreds of men in her mobile phone. No man has ever cut her off. A god appears before Eriko and declares that he intends to test her for the lowest level. “Who do you think I am?” An irate Eriko starts by aggressively flirting with Ogura Tsukasa, the person in charge of her company’s cosmetics at a major advertising agency, but the god ruthlessly judges her negatively. Exposed to his complaints and digs, the remarriage of Eriko’s mother, Hisako, makes Eriko recall that bitter first love during junior high school days … … Before she knows it, she speaks out about her embarrassing self which she has never let anyone see, to the god. Will she pass the text and be able to have a happy love?
