This coming-of-age drama follows Hayakawa Mai, a contract worker with aspirations of becoming a novelist. After her agency terminates her contract, she begins to lose hope in her dreams. However, a chance reunion with her best friend from high school, whom she hasn't seen in ten years, helps her regain her positivity. Despite this, Mai struggles with guilt over her past actions towards her friend.

A docudrama about Tetsuo Kinjo and Shozo Uehara, two writers who worked on the original Ultraman series. It also features interviews with other production staff.

TOKYO MER is formed by order from the Governor of Tokyo. The name of the group stands for TOKYO Mobile Emergency Room. The members are emergency care professionals and they are to go to sites of dangerous accidents and disasters by ER car.
