Game$how Marathon is an American television program which aired on CBS from May 31, 2006 to June 29, 2006. It is based on the UK series Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon which aired on ITV in 2005. The show features contestants competing in some of television's most historically popular game shows, in a single-elimination format until an ultimate winner is found. Both the UK and US versions featured celebrity contestants. The US version was produced by FremantleMedia North America and Granada America and was hosted by Ricki Lake and announced by Rich Fields. In the US, the series only aired for a single season, while in the UK a second season aired in 2007, this time entitled Gameshow Marathon and hosted by Vernon Kay. This program was recorded at Stage 46, CBS Television City in Los Angeles, CA, USA.

In $100,000 Pyramid, contestants are in teams of two. The goal of the game is to help your partner guess an answer, by listing items that would be included in said answer, or synonymous. For instance, if the answer is “Things That Bounce”, clues would be “Po-Go Sticks”, “Kangaroos”, “Basketballs”, etc. To add to the challenge, the contestant who is giving the clues has their hands strapped to their chair, so they’re unable to gesture in order to help the guessing process.

12 celebrity relatives are challenged to step outside their famous family member’s shadow and live together under one roof, concealing their identity and lineage in the quest for their own fame and fortune. They will compete in challenges, form alliances and play DNA detective in hopes of avoiding elimination and winning the coveted $100,000 prize.

A batch of more or less known celebrities, ready to expose themselves to a large amount of viewers, have to spend about two weeks in an Australian jungle camp. Each day, the viewers vote for the celebrity they would like to face a difficult task and later vote for their favorite to become the “Queen” or “King of the Jungle”. Let's Make a Deal is a television game show which originated in the United States and has since been produced in many countries throughout the world. The show is based around deals offered to members of the audience by the host. The traders usually have to weigh the possibility of an offer being for a valuable prize, or an undesirable item, referred to as a "Zonk". Let's Make a Deal is also known for the various unusual and crazy costumes worn by audience members, who dressed up that way in order to increase their chances of being selected as a trader. The show was hosted for many years by Monty Hall, who co-created and co-produced the show with Stefan Hatos. The current version is hosted by Wayne Brady, with Jonathan Mangum, Tiffany Coyne, and Cat Gray assisting.

8 Out of 10 Cats is a British television comedy panel game produced by Zeppotron for Channel 4. It was first broadcast on 3 June 2005. The show is based on statistics and opinion polls, and draws on polls produced by a variety of organizations and new polls commissioned for the programme, carried out by company Harris Poll. The show's title is derived from a well-known advertising tagline for Whiskas cat food, which originally claimed that "8 out of 10 cats prefer Whiskas".

In the 1930s, Bo Ching-wan and his family have come to crime infested Tong Yan Street in Bangkok. His father Bo Tin-ha tragically dies after he has teamed up with Lin Chun-shan to rebel against Lo Heung-tung. Ching-wan’s younger brother and sister have also gone missing. His mother Ting Sai-fung has become emotionally unstable. Twenty-five years later, Ching-wan sets foot in Tong Yan Street again and encounters a swindler called Chin Chin-chin. Chun-shan’s son Lin Gik turns out to be a corrupt cop. His colluding partners Pang Kin and Kam Lung are bosses of the two most notorious gangs. Pang Kin’s only son returns to Bangkok with his fiancée Ching On-na. However, he is assassinated, causing the two gangs to clash with each other. Ching-wan establishes Overseas Chinese Society of Bangkok. Ching-wan and his partners encourage good deeds and punish the baddies. The Society is in disarray as it repeatedly faces up to difficulties. There is still a long way to go before the chums find peace.
