Mita Sakura is considered to be weird by her colleagues at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, because she voluntarily works in the unidentified bodies department. About 20,000 unidentified bodies exist in the country and Mita Sakura works on returning these unknown deceased people to their families. She has a colleague, Tsukimoto Makoto, who works in the same department. They are totally opposite in terms of their personalities and interests. Mita Sakura is bright and warm-hearted, but Tsukimoto Makoto is calm and cold-hearted. They do share the same desire to return these unidentified bodies to their families. To find the identities of these deceased people, they rely on the few clues that are left behind on them.

Kisaragi Minori, who thought she had a happy family with her pure love since they were students and was married to her husband Yudai, was blessed with children, but the story begins when she finds out that her husband Yudai has been cheating on her for 15 years. Minori, who has vowed to take revenge on Yudai, who has another family, and on his lover, Riko Miyake, plots her revenge using Riko's son, Wataru.

Yuzuhara Miku is a temporary employee who works for a reception desk at a department store. She has low self-confidence and worries about what others think of her, but she is clueless when it comes to makeup. アンサング・シンデレラ ANOTHER STORY ～新人薬剤師 相原くるみ～

Arisa Ueto has a mild intellectual disability and autism. She hides her disabilities, but it's difficult for her to have relationships with others. She often makes mistakes at work and gets fired because of it. She has an inferiority complex and she will try to please guys intimately who seem interested in her. Arisa Ueto is unable to ordinary, but she admires those that are. She meets part-time worker Ryuji Okamura at her new place of work. She falls in love with. Due to his tenderness, she slowly changes.

Nishina, Maya, Shiro, and Aoi are four good friends in their second year of high school with good looks but disappointing personalities. The suspense story begins when Jin Saeki, a policeman in Yamanashi Prefecture, arrives at a prominent estate residence in response to a tip, and finds the skeletal remains of 13 children, as well as a mysterious marking. Jūzō Haikawa, the long-missing owner of the estate, immediately becomes the prime suspect. Saeki collaborates with a woman named Kanon Hasumi, who has a connection to Haikawa, and together they search for the truth behind the case. In a parallel story set in Tokyo seven years after the case, a girl with a connection to the mark left on the Haikawa estate runs away from home.

Reiko Kenmochi (Haruka Ayase) works as a successful lawyer at a big law firm. She is ambitious and she is also honest about her desire to make a lot of money. One day, due to a bonus cut issue, Reiko Kenmochi becomes upset and takes a leave from her job. During her break, she spends time sending emails to people she knows, including her ex-boyfriend Eiji Morikawa. She then receives an email from a mysterious person, Shinoda. That email states that her ex-boyfriend Eiji Morikawa died. She is also surprised to learn that his will states that his entire fortune will be handed over to the person who killed him. Reiko Kenmochi devises a plan to split her ex-boyfriend's fortune with Shinoda, turning Shinoda into Eiji Morikawa’s killer.
