Overview
Three seemingly ordinary but deadly uncles, whose fate sets them in motion again. It depicts the everyday lives of three middle-aged men, who have lived 50% of their lives, and the realistic comedy of these uncles who are even sadder because they were successful in their past.
Reviews
Fifties Professionals is a case of a good idea that's poorly executed. The comedic tone of this series is at odds with its serious action orientation. It also seems to send the rather odious message that anyone in their fifties is over the hill, a figure of ridicule and fun.
Limited upsides include decent acting and action, but the handling is so off it hardly matters.
In summary, a great idea ruined by dismal handling. A wholly mediocre watch, not to mention rather insulting the older viewers.
