Phenomenal start! I was hooked from the beginning all the way to the end. Loved the introductions for all the characters. The styling is amazing; everyone looked so good. The lighting is werkkiing especially in the club scenes. The interactions between Dean and Moth are thrilling; William and Est have such amazing chemistry together. Loved seeing the friendships between Dean and Ten & Moth and Pun. They feel genuine. Loved the setup and pacing for this episode; the springboard for the next episode has me on the edge of my seat....
(The OST is stuck in my brain! It's so good!)
And the plot thickens! This episode leveled up the intrigue and mystery. We saw each character make interesting choices to say the least. I kept thinking “What is he doing?” and “Why would he do that?” It was an excited state of confusion. I can’t wait to learn the backstories that are motivating these characters There’s a lot lurking under the surface. It feels very iceberg-ish, I love seeing all the different sets and filming locations. It’s a very rich, diverse, realistic universe.
I am enjoying watching Barcode and Kin. Ten makes me laugh, and I am wondering what is under Dr. Pun’s professional exterior. William and Est are giving such life to Dean and Moth. I am getting whiplash from the temperature changes. But there are some precious moments in here…..that will live in my heart forever. i get butterflies…..crazy butterflies!
I am dizzy from all the tension and emotions coming from Dean and Moth. My eyes were darting from side to side while trying to stare the screen. My jaw was on the floor, and my heart was swimming in waves of emotions. It was so interesting to see Dean and Moth reveal more of their red flag behaviors on their “dates”. Kudos to Pun and Hun for helping these two see some sense! (Though I don’t know if that was the intended effect, I’m looking at you, Pun)
This show is a must watch! It is beautiful to look at. The story is delivered in such an intelligent way. William and Est are portraying Dean and Moth from the top of their heads to the tip of their toes. My favorite scene was the first few frames. It was such a vulnerable, caring, and peaceful moment. I wish more of those for our two maniacs!
I love how You Maniac is portraying real life chaos, messiness, pettiness, jealousy, and loneliness authentically. Each character is flawed dealing an unknown past that motivates and can dictate their decisions. We saw a hint of Dean’s trauma from the interactions with his sister Duen. Pun also revealed his perspective of his current status with Moth. The characters have layers! Peel one off and you get a new. It is so intriguing….the dynamic. Dean and Moth are playing chess…moves back and forth. William and Est are killing it! This is a beautiful sexy mess. Their facial expressions are insane, and their chemistry is untouchable! By the end of the episode I really felt for both characters! But that ending, here we go again…
I love the windows into the story and the glimpses into the relationships that we are being shown…purposely. The editing is masterful! Jumping the viewer forwards and backwards through the story. Highlighting certain scenes and muting others. Subtlety is being used like a knife….precision cuts. The way the relationships are braided and folded through the story looks completely effortless.
The vulnerability present in this episode is so beautiful! There are scenes that take my breath away! And moments I wish the characters could stay in forever.
The conclusion of the Blind Date event was a true look in the mirror. It told us how Dean, Moth, Ten, and Pun view themselves and their respective romantic partner(s). The event also provided a perspective outside of the “fish tank” which was very interesting! What will be brought to our attention next….

Watching *You Maniac* felt like stepping into something unexpectedly beautiful, because from the very first episode, I found myself completely drawn into DeanMoth’s world. I keep wondering whether Dean is genuinely falling for Moth or simply becoming obsessed with the challenge of winning someone who refuses to be impressed by him, and I honestly cannot wait to find out. For me, *You Maniac* already has that addictive quality. If this is only the beginning, I already know I’m going to be emotionally invested, slightly obsessed, and probably losing my mind over these two with every episode. **For me, this truly was one of the most beautiful and memorable episodes GMMTV has given us, and WilliamEst are absolutely the reason I’m staying.**

Right from the first episode, the setting, acting, and cinematography completely blew me away; it actually exceeded my expectations. On top of that, the entire cast delivers great performances, and the chemistry of Williamest goes without saying it’s absolutely phenomenal. I’ve watched all their previous works together, so I’m really looking forward to seeing how You Maniac unfolds

Dean and Moth’s chemistry is getting RIDICULOUS. The teasing, body language, flirting, and those little looks??? 🔥 William and Est are absolutely killing it.
Moth is clearly not as unaffected as he wants us to believe 👀 and Dean has officially discovered that annoying Moth is his favorite hobby. 😂
I also loved the loneliness conversation because it gave both characters more emotional depth. And Ten… sir, why do you have an FBI file on Pun and Moth?! 🚩😭
EP2 made me even more invested. Dean may have started this thinking he was going to win Moth over, but baby… I think Moth might be winning YOU over. 😭
