Weather Proof is a non-fiction television series aired on The Weather Channel in the United States hosted by meteorologist Stephanie Abrams, special effects expert Newton Wimer, and narrated by Mark Avery. Weather Proof showcases protection against the weather and life preservation when overtaken by weather. The show covers all types of situations from flooding to fires, snow to tornadoes, and more. Often, Abrams and Newton find themselves caught in some very precarious predicaments while demonstrating how extreme weather and conditions can create dangerous and destructive situations. Now in its second season, 'Weather Proof' is produced and distributed by the Emmy Award winning Peacock Productions team.

Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys is an American reality television series. Each season follows the lives of four gay men and their female best friends. The series debuted on the Sundance Channel on December 7, 2010. World of Wonder produces Girls. Season one was set in New York City. Critical response to Girls was mixed, trending toward negative among the mainstream press and positive among the gay press. Citing the similarity in premise to Will & Grace, critics tended to dismiss the show as short on dramatic interest. Sundance Channel announced on March 2, 2011 casting calls for season two in Austin, Texas and Nashville, Tennessee. Season two, which saw the show relocated to Nashville, premiered November 18, 2011.

Coppers is a British fly-on-the-wall documentary television series broadcast on Channel 4, about policing in the United Kingdom. First broadcast on 1 November 2010, the series followed the day to day lives of police officers from four territorial police forces around the country, covering various activities: custody suite operations, road unit policing, 999 response, night time policing and riot control. A second series began on 9 January 2012 at 9pm and ran for 8 episodes.

This British television baking competition selects from amongst its competitors the best amateur baker. The series is credited with reinvigorating interest in baking throughout the UK, and many of its participants, including winners, have gone on to start a career based on baking.

Girls' Generation Goes to School is a South Korean reality show starring the popular South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. The show documents the debut of the nine members of Girls' Generation and their associated troubles and ventures. Most of the episodes revolve around the group's unofficial debut and first public performances through the M.net show, School of Rock

The Amazing Race: A Corrida Milionária was a Brazilian version of the popular franchised reality television show The Amazing Race. Hosted by Rony Curvelo, it was independently produced and aired in a purchased time slot in the Brazilian television network RedeTV!. The show premiered on 13 October 2007 and ended on 5 January 2008.

Värsta språket was a Swedish television series about the Swedish language. The series, which was hosted by Fredrik Lindström and produced by Karin af Klintberg, was broadcast on SVT during 2002 and 2003. The series discussed issues with the Swedish language in an entertaining way. After two seasons, Fredrik Lindström claimed that the attention from the programme was a burden to him and that he wouldn't host it anymore. The show was therefore put on hiatus. Lindström did however return with another language-related series called Svenska dialektmysterier in 2006. Lindström and af Klintberg were given Stora journalistpriset for the programme. Much of what was mentioned in the show is recorded and can be read in Lindström's two books: Världens dåligaste språk and Jordens smartaste ord.

Armed & Famous is an American reality television series that premiered January 10, 2007, on CBS. First-run episodes were also aired on VH1 in the United States. After the first episode aired, CBS moved the show into a time slot opposite American Idol on FOX. After four episodes, the show was pulled from the network on January 26, 2007 with broadcast rights for the series shifted to VH1. All six episodes of the series aired on VH1, including two previously unaired episodes from the original CBS run.

Germany's Next Topmodel is a German reality television show, based on a concept that was introduced by Tyra Banks with America's Next Top Model. The competition is hosted by Heidi Klum. She also serves as the lead judge and executive producer of the show.

American Bandstand was an American music-performance show that aired in various versions from 1952 to 1989 and was hosted from 1956 until its final season by Dick Clark, who also served as producer. The show featured teenagers dancing to Top 40 music introduced by Clark; at least one popular musical act—over the decades, running the gamut from Jerry Lee Lewis to Run DMC—would usually appear in person to lip-sync one of their latest singles. Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon holds the record for most appearances at 110. The show's popularity helped Dick Clark become an American media mogul and inspired similar long-running music programs, such as Soul Train and Top of the Pops. Clark eventually assumed ownership of the program through his Dick Clark Productions company.

Frauentausch is a German reality television series broadcast on RTL II. This program is similar to other Wife Swap programs, when, for ten days, wives exchange homes and families. They are allowed to advise each other through a video and information cards. The meet blindfolded, half-way en route to their new homes. They are allowed to greet each other, then are later asked for their impression of the meeting. On the tenth and last day of the swap the wives prepare for their trip home, and say goodbye to their substitute families. At the half-way point en route to their apartments, the women or men meet each other again. They might give each other advice on what they can change or talk about problems encountered, etc. Sometimes the discussions end in insults or even in violence. Finally we see their arrival at their own home and how their families receive them. On May 18, 2006, the hundredth episode was shown with a big anniversary special. It was shown whether the lives have changed of the families who have taken part at Frauentausch or whether there are new friendships between some families. Prisma Film produces with Tausche Familie a similarly successful format for Austrian television.

Hollywood's Talking is a short lived American game show based the 60s quizzer, Everybody's Talking, and produced by Jack Barry. It ran on CBS for three months in 1973, debuting on March 26 and ending on June 22 to make room for a new version of Match Game. It was hosted by Geoff Edwards, with Johnny Jacobs announcing. The series was the first national game show hosted by the 42-year-old Edwards, who would become notable for his next two hosting jobs, The New Treasure Hunt and Jackpot!. The program aired at 3:30 p.m./2:30 Central time, opposite ABC's One Life to Live and NBC's Return to Peyton Place. Edwards once said that while hosting this series, he had a tenuous working relationship with Jack Barry. It was not until 1980 that Edwards would host another Barry & Enright game, Play the Percentages.

Living Lahaina is an American reality television series on MTV. The series, filmed over a three-month period on location in Lahaina, focused on a group of twenty-something surf instructors and their father-figure-boss at the Royal Hawaiian Surf Academy. Living Lahaina also followed cast members throughout travels to Indonesia, California, and Kauai. Living Lahaina premiered on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 10:30 p.m. on MTV and was scheduled to run for eight episodes. However, only 3 episodes were shown on MTV. Following the style of MTV's Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, The Hills and Maui Fever, Living Lahaina was shot in the format of a scripted television show. Cast members did not speak directly to the camera. Instead, the show made use of a Dukes of Hazzard style voice-over narrative periodically throughout each episode, to give background or sum up storylines.

The Wendy Williams Experience is an American gossip television series on VH1. The series premiered on October 20, 2006. The series follows Wendy Williams as she hosts her radio station on with Charlamagne as her co-host. On the radio show, Williams spoke about gossip, fashion, celebrity news, and gave advice to callers. She also interviewed celebrities, and is noted for asking outrageous questions.

Discovery Atlas is a documentary television series on the Discovery Channel and Discovery HD Theater which focuses on the cultural, sociological, and natural aspects of various countries by exploring their different peoples, traditions, and lands. The documentary follows the lives and individual struggles of locals, while taking in-depth looks at the countries' history and culture.
