Its story is set in Aikatsu Planet, a world where everyone can become cute idols using an avatar. While spending school life, the main characters are aiming to become top idols. Everyday parts such as the main character's school life will be filmed in live-action, and the Aikatsu Planet! world will be drawn in anime and 3DCG (like the previous series). The live-action part's cast members will form a unit "STARRY PLANET*" and perform as idols at events and on YouTube. A new Data Carddass game linked to the TV series, "Data Carddass Aikatsu Planet!" is also scheduled to begin its service this winter.

Strange Frequency is an American television horror anthology series. It aired on VH1 for one season in 2001. The series was hosted by Roger Daltry, former front man for the British rock band The Who, and consisted of 12 single story episodes, each one revolving around a musical theme.

Voicelugger is a Japanese tokusatsu that aired from January 12 to March 30, 1999. It was the last production by Shotaro Ishinomori, released posthumously, who intended for the series to be serious, while it was originally written to be a parody of older tokusatsu programs. Hibiki Kazaguruma, a sixth grader, meets an amusing little robot named Breakin while coming home from school one day. Breakin, a dancer from an alternate-dimension dance world, challenged the Dance King for the throne and lost. He has been deprived of Dance Stones (crystals containing the powers of different forms of dance) and sent to the human world. To restore his power, Breakin must collect all the Dance Stones scattered around Earth.

Daldalita is a Philippine drama-fantasy-musical TV series produced by GMA Network. It stars child actress Jillian Ward in the title role, with Ogie Alcasid, Manilyn Reynes, Rufa Mae Quinto, love team Elmo Magalona and Julie Anne San Jose and with the special participation of '90s hit singer/actress Donna Cruz. During a concert by idol group Zwei Wing, an alien force known as the Noise attack the stage.
