«Portveiens julekalender» is a Norwegian children's Christmas TV series that aired on NRK in December 1987. It was a special holiday edition of the beloved children's show «Portveien 2», which originally ran in the 1980s. The series follows the hosts Eli Rygg, Terje Strømdahl, and the puppet giraffe Raffen as they count down to Christmas with daily episodes filled with songs, storytelling, crafts, and festive preparations. Each episode offers a warm, cozy atmosphere with themes of kindness, creativity, and anticipation of the holiday season.

Christmas on the Moontop is a Norwegian christmas series. It was produced and sent on NRK in 2002 with replays in 2005, 2010 and 2014. Idea and screenplay by Gudny Ingebjørg Hagen. Christmas on the Moontop was the successor to Christmas in Blåfjell and Amalies Christmas. Directed by Torunn Calmeyer Ringen.

In the early 20th century, Luka, a poor, crippled young boy from the wrong side of the tracks, stumbles upon a theatre at the end of a carnival, where he befriends a bunch of kids who work and live at the theatre, and he feels more at home there than he has anywhere else. However, at the same time, an evil, ruthless upper-class woman on the brink of bankruptcy plots to sell the theatre to gain some extra money, and if that happens, everyone at the theatre will be thrown out into the streets. Luka works together with his new friends to try to save it.

Selma, a 9 year old girl who lost her parents in an accident, is now living with Ruth, a quite strict neighbour who was just supposed to temporarily look after Selma and her dog Casper.

Ten years after the smash hit "Santas in the barn", the Christmas gnomes are finally back. In "Santas on the way" the Christmas gnomes has left the barn, and embarks on a journey through our vast country. There will be a reunion with beloved characters, and we meet some newcomers.

Nytt på nytt is a Norwegian version of the British comedy programme Have I Got News for You, by the production company Hat Trick Productions. The programme is aired weekly on Friday nights. The show is a competition between two panels, where one panelist is permanent, and the other is a guest. The goal is to solve several tasks. The element of competition is largely ignored in favour of the witty remarks and the banter between panelists. The scores are generally overlooked, and have only a brief mention at the end of the show. The host is Jon Almaas, with permanent panelists Knut Nærum and Ingrid Gjessing Linhave. Linhave replaced Linn Skåber from the autumn of 2013. Since the start in the spring of 1999, it has grown to become the most popular weekly show on Norwegian television, with more than a million viewers every week.

Jul i Skomakergata is a Norwegian TV-show produced in 1979. It is a televised advent calendar, meaning it is broadcast from December 1 to December 24. It has been broadcast several times in Norway by NRK and is one of the most treasured programs in Norwegian television history. The story revolves around shoe repairer Jens Petrus Andersen, played by Henki Kolstad, and his shop. He is visited by friends and townspeople who need their shoes repaired before Christmas. A part of the show consists of showing a clip from Sandmännchen which tells children about the United Nations' Convention on the Rights of the Child. In 2006, the Norwegian comedian Zahid Ali created an advent calendar show called Jul i Tøyengata, a parody of Jul i Skomakergata which shows a multicultural street in Oslo and deals with problems such as racism and cultural clashes.
