Eccentric inventor Professor Branestawm fights the forces of evil in this comedy adventure film, based on Norman Hunter's iconic children's books. Armed with a multitude of crazy inventions, and alongside his eccentric allies Colonel Dedshott, Mrs Flittersnoop and young apprentice Connie, Branestawm, the original mad professor, takes on scheming businessman Mr Bullimore and officious local councillor Harold Haggerstone, to try and stop their plans to bulldoze his workshop to make way for a giant munitions factory, right in the middle of town.

Produced in the late 1990s, this series saw Alf Garnett Johnny Speight's legendary sitcom creation who remained an acerbic barometer of contemporary mores and morals for four decades wrestling with the pressing issues of the day in typically controversial fashion! Featuring wickedly funny scripts from Speight who delighted in attacking all kinds of prejudice with razor-sharp satire The Thoughts of Chairman Alf stars Warren Mitchell as the infamously bigoted East Ender first introduced in the BBC's Till Death Us Do Part, who over six mock-Q&A-style shows is given another chance to air his dubious philosophy only partially curtailed by late '90s political correctness...

The 17-year-old Onohara Asami is a cute, second-year high school student. Nobody knows that she is actually already married to her 25-year-old physics teacher, Ichimaru Kyousuke (Danna-sama). Besides her responsibility as a student, she now has to take care of the household and keep the marriage a secret at school. Juggling these things on a daily basis is all but easy for Asami, especially with the complications introduced by her well-meaning but nosy best female friends; an overprotective very intrusive father Iwao; the kind teacher Iwasaki who of all men falls for Asami's husband; or the quite alluring next-door neighbour Sakura Mizunosaki. Against all these odds Asami tries to nurture her young love with Danna-sama.

Jitree had lots of gambling debts, so she wanted her daughter, Taddao, to marry, for money, the much older Jao Yai Wattana. Jao Noi Yodkwan, his son, just came back from abroad. When he found out that his father plans to marry a young girl, he was very upset, so he left the palace to do farming. Jitree told Taddao that her father left a will hidden somewhere in Bussaya House. Taddao decides to run away from this forced marriage and go in search of the will. She disguises herself as a boy named Sutad and happens to run into Jao Noi Yodkwan, himself preparing to hit the road. When Taddao, disguised as the boy Sutad, discovers that Yodkwan is a friend of Witoon's, her relative, she asks him to take her along to Bussaya House. Jao Noi Yodkwan agrees to help, under the condition that Sutad obeys him and do everything as told, without troubling the bossy and uptight Jao Noi.

Grundy is a British television sitcom starring Harry H. Corbett as puritanical newsagent Leonard Grundy who, after a divorce, opposes the idea of a 'permissive society' and befriends the wife of the man who left with his wife. It was initially scheduled for late 1979, but a ten-week industrial dispute and a subsequent heart attack by Corbett caused broadcast to be postponed until 1980.
