Ex-baseball player Dave Blake and his artist wife Karen have adopted 6 teens of various ethnic and racial backgrounds. The show was produced by Peter Engel Productions and canceled after 3 seasons.

His son Lin Shi Jun is one who seeks to take shortcuts to success.
