There are five different stages: producers' auditions, blind auditions, battles, knockouts, and live shows.

RAP:PUBLIC (랩:퍼블릭) is a South Korean rap competition produced by Mnet with 60 contestants. A real hip-hop survival show where players engage in a strategic survival competition using 'rap' as their weapon.

50 Cent: The Money and the Power is a canceled reality show that initially premiered November 6, 2008 on MTV and is now regularly aired on MTV2. The show was hosted by 50 Cent and follows the same mold as The Apprentice. It was meant to serve as a "visual companion" to 50 Cent's book The 50th Law, which he co-wrote with Robert Greene, author of The 48 Laws of Power.

The first season was presented by cantopop singer Prudence Liew and aired from July 19, 2009 to February 7, 2010. Wen Wang was the winner. Sammy Leung and Kristal Tin were the main presenters starting season two, which aired May 9, 2010 to September 12, 2010. Mag Lam was the winner. Season 3 premiered on August 14th, 2011 following the conclusion of the talk show, Say What.
