Fame Factory

A survival show made by YG Entertainment which introduces all their male trainees in the agency. YG Treasure Box will determine the member selection of YG's new boy group that will debut sometime next year. There are a total of 29 trainees age ranges from 14 to 19 years old, they are separated into 4 teams, Treasure A, B, C, and Treasure J, which consists trainees from YG's branch in Japan. The future group will have 5 members (according to YG this number can change during the show based on different factors).

Reflecting the new wave of British rap-influenced music that's conquering the charts, the series follows the MCs as in every episode, they write, practice and perform a new track. All the while, they are being trained, mentored and given a crash course in the music business by some of the UK's biggest rap names.

Fame Academy was a German reality television program and casting show launched on RTL II in 2003 under the same format of the international TV franchise Star Academy. It differed from other casting shows in that the candidates were housed in a boarding school where they lived and played music together.
