Ji Seung Yeon fails her audition piece for an English music college by severely modernizing it, secretly returning home to South Korea in shame. Hiding out at her painfully shy friend's house, she joins him in auditioning to replace popular members of a boy band who are getting too old. Together, she and her friend make it through to a finalized group of eight competing for the few opening spots. No one but her friend and her uncle (director of the pop music company) and his assistant know she's a girl. The leader of the boy band, not in the know, starts questioning his orientation when finding himself progressively attracted to this "boy."

American Bandstand was an American music-performance show that aired in various versions from 1952 to 1989 and was hosted from 1956 until its final season by Dick Clark, who also served as producer. Barney & Friends is an American children's television series aimed at children from ages 2 to 5. The series, which first aired on April 6, 1992, features the title character Barney, a purple anthropomorphic Tyrannosaurus rex who conveys educational messages through songs and small dance routines with a friendly, optimistic attitude.

Tanssii tähtien kanssa is a Finnish version of the British BBC television series Strictly Come Dancing. The show has run on MTV3 since March 3, 2006, on Sunday evenings. The sixteenth season will be aired in the fall of 2023. The show was originally hosted by Marco Bjurström and Ella Kanninen. Ella Kanninen left the show after the second season and was replaced by model and Season 2 contestant Vanessa Kurri. In 2009, Kurri was replaced by Vappu Pimiä after only one season. Marco Bjurstöm left the series after Season 4 and Mikko Leppilampi took over as host. Ella Kanninen returned to host the seventh season due to Pimiä's maternity leave; Pimiä will return to host the eight season with Leppilampi. From 2022 Pimiä was joined by Ernest Lawson. The series' title is a pun on the title of the film Dances with Wolves, Tanssii susien kanssa.

Pants-Off Dance-Off is a dance contest which premiered on April 18, 2006 on Fuse. It features stripteasers as they dance while disrobing. In each episode, five contestants striptease to a music video, while interviews, soundbites and photos reveal stories about each so-called "pancer".
