Blue Water High is an Australian television drama series, broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation on ABC1 and on Austar/Foxtel Nickelodeon channel in Australia and on various channels in many other countries. Each season follows the lives of a young group of students at Solar Blue, a high-performance surf academy where several lucky 16-year-olds are selected for a 12-month-long surfing program on Sydney's northern beaches. There are three series in Blue Water High. The first two series were screened in 2005 and 2006 and the producers did not intend to create a third series. However, due to popular demand by fans, they relented and made one more series with only Kate Bell returning in a main role. Series three ended with the closure of Solar Blue, indicating that the show would most likely not continue.

Yao Zong, an assistant horse trainer who is not doing well in his career, is inadvertently sucked into its realm. Despite being bullied at work, he puts up a brave front daily to preserve the respect from his family. But one night, in a drunken stupor, he bumps into an old woman who grants him three wishes. But this time, he has to pay a price for the next three wishes. Despite the warning, he uses them anyway and turns his family into instant millionaires from winning the lottery. But he pays with a high price - his daughter loses her legs as a result. Greed is then exemplified by his son, who uses the last wish to wish for three more wishes. In what seems like a never-ending cycle, Yao Zong looks desperately for the next person to take the three wishes away from him.

Binoy Henyo or Wonder Kid is a Filipino drama-comedy television series created and developed by Marlon Miguel and produced by GMA Network. The forty-five minute scripted drama centers on the titular character, Binoy, a six-year-old genius boy and his struggles with poverty and his longing for a father figure in his life. The show garnered both high ratings and positive feedback from viewers and critics, from its premiere telecast.
