Yun Hae Jun is the youngest anchor to ever work at his broadcasting station. He is calm and straightforward as a journalist and kind in his personal life. The main character is a scientific genius boy named Kiteretsu, who has built a companion robot named Korosuke. He frequently travels in time with his friends and Korosuke in the time machine he built. Miyoko is a girl in his neighborhood who is basically his girlfriend. Tongari is his rival, who happen to share some similar traits of Honekawa Suneo. Buta Gorilla is a typical neighborhood bully, who also share similar traits of Gian except that he often antagonizes Korosuke (though they are in grade school).

While on patrol duty, EU sergeant Ling Sun-fung and her team are called to assist a criminal chase. A gun battle erupts and Sun-fung loses her father, who dies from a stray bullet to the head. Sun-fung continues the pursuit, but a strange natural phenomenon suddenly turns her away, taking her back to April 1—three days prior to the incident. Realizing that she has travelled back in time, she uses this opportunity to save her father's life. Village chief "Ditch", an informant for the ICAC, discovers Sun-fung's special ability and teams up with her to investigate a corrupted cop. So when Goa unleashes his various daikaiju, chances are, Magma, Mol, and Gam will fly to the rescue.

Sapphire & Steel is a British television science-fiction fantasy series starring David McCallum as Steel and Joanna Lumley as Sapphire. Produced by ATV, it ran from 1979 to 1982 on the ITV network. The series was created by Peter J. Hammond who conceived the programme under the working title The Time Menders, after a stay in an allegedly haunted castle. Hammond also wrote all the stories except for the fifth, which was co-written by Don Houghton and Anthony Read. None of the stories had onscreen titles, or any official titles assigned by the writers. The Region 1 Complete Series DVD release gives the titles "Escape Through a Crack in Time", "The Railway Station", "The Creature's Revenge", "The Man Without a Face", "Dr. McDee Must Die" and "The Trap", respectively. These titles have often been cited as having been created by science fiction magazine Time Screen.
