A group of working-class friends finding unconventional ways to win at life in suburban northern England. These lads have dealt, scammed, bribed and conned their way through adolescence, but now, their dealing and stealing is catching up with them and a whole load of trouble is heading their way.

Joni, a promising street-smart pool-hustling girl, who fights her way from the slums to get a shot at becoming a pool champion in the male-dominated world of billiards. As Joni continues to bust balls on her way to the top, her impending blindness that might ruin her dream of becoming the first woman champion in a mixed-gender billiards tournament is on the line.

Denis Sazonov, a former driver of the KAMAZ-master racing team, wants to return to his native team after a 12-year break and collapse on all fronts of life. But it turns out to be difficult: once, having become the youngest world champion in the history of rally raids, he was fired from KAMAZ-master for violating team ethics. Denis wants to regain his sense of self-respect and involvement in the "big deal" and win the rally raid again. But no one is waiting for him in the team. Eremin, the deputy director of the team, does not want to give him a chance, because he believes that Denis violated the team rules. Sazonov gets a job as a cleaner in the team, going all the way "to the wheel" from the very beginning. But even here an unpleasant surprise awaits him: he meets his ex-wife Zhenya, who plans to take the place of navigator and become the first female pilot in the men's team.

Hibiki Sakura is your average high school girl, with a voracious appetite. Noticing her clothes tightening in lieu of her slowly expanding waistline she decides to look into enrolling in the nearby gym. There she runs into a girl from her grade named Souryuuin Akemi. Akemi, who has a muscle fetish tries to get Hibiki to enroll in the gym despite its high ratio of macho men. Thankfully a beautiful trainer, Machio, appears and unknowingly convinces her to enroll and start her quest to a great body.

Hang Time is an American teen sitcom about a fictional Indiana high school's boys' basketball team "Deering" with one female player, that aired from 1995–2000. It aired on Saturday mornings on NBC as part of the network's TNBC morning block. It was created by Troy Searer, Robert Tarlow, and Mark Fink. The show lasted six seasons, during which the cast was changed almost in its entirety. Only two cast members stayed with the show throughout its entire run, similar to Saved by the Bell: The New Class.

Frisky Dingo is an American animated cartoon series created by Adam Reed and Matt Thompson for Adult Swim. The series revolved around the conflict between a supervillain named Killface and a superhero named Awesome X, alias billionaire Xander Crews, and much of the show's humor focuses on parodying superhero and action movie clichés. It debuted on October 16, 2006 and ended its first season on January 22, 2007; the second season premiered on August 26, 2007 and ended on March 23, 2008. A spin-off show, The Xtacles, premiered on November 9, 2008, but only two episodes were aired prior to the production company's closure.
