The series tells the story of Yu Hao, who doesn't know how to cook and even doesn't have a kitchen. For the food platform he created, he sponsored a food reality show and appeared on his own. But efficiency is the priority, he doesn't want to waste time learning to cook for this, so he offends the show crew by shooting with a stand-in. Su Ke Lan was appointed to become the director of public relations when he was in danger, took over the work of public relations to deal with the crisis, and became Yu Hao's culinary teacher. She took him into the kitchen and slowly began to enter his heart.

Mizuguchi Saki is an outstanding fashion magazine editor who grew up in a modern and liberal family. She meets Obara Koichi who is the ace of the Air Rescue Wing of the Air Self Defence Force. He grew up in a strict military family and is the classic straight-laced guy.

Moreover, the brewers working for Yusaku are strangers to sake making. They are men and women who have lost their places to go for their own reasons, and have moved in with the sake brewery. One of them is Shuichi’s cousin, Naoki. In the middle of preparing the daiginjo sake on which the fate of the sake brewery rests, an unusual and unpredicted change takes place before Naoki’s eyes. Will the sake brewery be turned around when the drops of liquid of their quest flow?

A Bit of a Do is a British comedy drama series based on the books by David Nobbs. The show starred David Jason and was aired on ITV in 1989. It was made for the ITV network by Yorkshire Television. The show was set in a fictional Yorkshire town. Each episode took place at a different social function and followed the changing lives of two families, the working-class Simcocks and the middle-class Rodenhursts, together with their respective friends, Rodney and Betty Sillitoe, and Neville Badger. The series begins with the wedding of Ted and Rita Simcock's son Paul to Laurence and Liz Rodenhurst's daughter Jenny; an event at which Ted and Liz begin an affair. The subsequent fallout from this affair forms the basis for most of the first series.
