This is the story of Xia Yu Meng, a young cartoonist, and her creation Shen Ming Xi, the villain in her comic book. On a day when the celestial phenomenon was abnormal, Shen Ming Xi suddenly traveled through time and space and came to Xia Yu Meng's world from the comics.

The story takes place at a time in Joseon history, when upheaval and power struggles surrounding the throne had reached extreme levels. In order to escape those who plan to assassinate him, the king puts a clown, who looks exactly like him, on the throne.

The cold CEO of a construction company Qi Xun (Gao Han Yu) can teleport as long as he sees a picture of his destination. But his superpower comes with a side effect: Every time he uses it, he gets an unbearable headache. A Step into the Past is a 2001 Hong Kong television series produced by TVB and based on Huang Yi's novel of the same Chinese title. The series tells the story of a 21st-century Hong Kong VIPPU officer who travels back in time to the Warring States period of ancient China. He is involved in a number of important historical events that leads to the first unification of China under the Qin Dynasty.
