Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling runs its third Korakuen Hall show of 2018 this Saturday 25 August, entitled “Brand New Wrestling 2 ~ Now It’s Time to Attack ~”. The event will be streaming live on DDT Universe starting at 10am UK time. For anybody out there that isn’t already firmly on board the TJP bandwagon, this is a primer of sorts.

SuperClash II was the second SuperClash professional wrestling event produced by American Wrestling Association (AWA). The event took place at the Cow Palace in Daly City, California on May 2, 1987. The show was promoted as the AWA's most important show of the year. Unlike SuperClash I and SuperClash III, the second event featured mainly AWA wrestlers. While not the last match of the show the main event was a match between Curt Henning and Nick Bockwinkel for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship. The show featured six additional matches that were taped for television and shown as part of the AWA's weekly television shows in subsequent weeks.

Live from Madison Square Garden is a professional wrestling event produced by WWE. It took place on October 3, 2015 and aired exclusively on the WWE Network. The event was hailed as a part of Brock Lesnar's Go To Hell Tour and his return to Madison Square Garden in his first match in the arena since his original departure from the company in 2004.

John Cena takes on the polarizing purveyor of "People Power", John Laurinaitis. Plus, both World Championships are on the line! The Superstars of Raw and SmackDown dial up the intensity as WWE goes Over The Limit! Over the Limit was a PPV which took place at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina on May 20, 2012. It was the third and final event under the Over the Limit chronology. In a main event from the Raw brand, John Laurinaitis challenged John Cena. Another main event from the Raw brand featured CM Punk defending against Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship. In the main event from the SmackDown brand, Sheamus defended against Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, and Chris Jericho in a Fatal Four-way match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Winnie Lightner is the head of a health clinic and has Joe E. Brown as one of her employees. Brown is a wrestler named JoJo and he is forced to enter the ring and face down a musclebound masked opponent (Frank S. Hagney). Making matters worse, the masked marauder is convinced that his wife has been fooling around with JoJo. JoJo is knocked out early in the proceedings, whereupon he dreams he's a sultan surrounded by harem girls. A romantic subplot involves Paul Gregory and Claudia Dell. Gregory works for Dell's father and Dell asks her father to give Gregory a promotion so that she can spend more time with him. When Gregory refuses to be promoted without earning the position, she threatens to have him fired and Gregory quits his job. Gregory attempts to start a new career as a championship wrestler and is trained by Lightner and Brown. When Dell finds out about this, she attempts to stop him and asks for his forgiveness. She pleads with him to not fight but he has already promised...

A small-time wrestling company accepts a well-paying gig in a backwoods town only to learn, too late, that the community is run by a mysterious cult leader with devious plans for their match.

Soon they find out that evil Scientist Dr. Gro has developed a device to make people and objects to disappear blaming the famous vanishings of ships, airplanes and human beings on Mother Nature. The 1992 WWE Royal Rumble was the fifth annual Royal Rumble. It took place on January 19, 1992 at The Knickerbocker Arena in Albany, New York. The main event, as in past Royal Rumble events, was the event's namesake match. The 1992 Royal Rumble match was historic because for the first time in the history of WWE, the last man standing in the match would win the WWE Championship, which had been vacated in December 1991. The match was won by Ric Flair, who last eliminated Sid Justice to win the match and the WWE Championship. Featured matches on the undercard were The Natural Disasters vs. The Legion of Doom for the WWE World Tag Team Championship, The Beverly Brothers vs. The Bushwhackers & Roddy Piper versus The Mountie for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

New Year Dash!! is a professional wrestling event held annually by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). It is held every year the day after Wrestle Kingdom, the biggest show of the year for New Japan, starting at Wrestle Kingdom 8 in 2014. There have been eight events under the name held so far, with the traditional January 5 date. In 2020 and 2021, with Wrestle Kingdom a two night event, New Year Dash!! was held January 6. The event was not held in 2022, with the intended return to a one-day Wrestle Kingdom for 2023, the event will return to January 5.
