This sharp Czech soda first appeared on Czech Television screens on June 4, 1993, and for four years it fundamentally changed the concept of Czech television satire and pushed the boundaries of viewer tolerance into completely unprecedented, uncomfortable zones. While her son, Kichi, is away at war, a woman and her daughter-in-law survive by killing samurai who stray into their swamp, then selling whatever valuables they find.
