Missing at Sea

Based on the true story of Pia Klemp, a German biologist who was working with Sea Shepherd on marine conservation efforts. She later directed ships to rescue thousands of migrants from drowning in the Mediterranean Sea, but later faced charges for assisting with illegal immigration in 2017 and a potential 20-year prison sentence. After seven years, charges were dropped against Klemp.

Orson Welles reads the poem especially for this film by Larry Jordan, which is dedicated to the late Wallace Berman, and is made possible by a grant from The National Endowment Of The Arts.

Santuaryo is a movie that centers on the unfolding narration of a young man named Archie (Basti Romero). Archie went looking for a lost treasure when he came into the possession of an ancient map left by an old adventurer. His journey left him battered and cloudy with memories as he was found drifting on the ocean and later rescued by island fishermen. When his long time lover, William (Will Sandejas) arrives at his side, he is forced to painfully recall what happened to him and describes how he crossed paths with a group of boys looking for the same treasure. In the end, Archie realizes what is most valuable in life and it is in his relationship with William that he finds his greatest fortune. Panoramic and provoking. Santuaryo is ultimately a hypothesis about the behavioral mutations of a group of boys when faced with desperate circumstances.

Immersed in the text, Luisa finds the work's impulses increasingly immersed into her own reality, driving her to the threshold of adaptation and delirium. Between theater, sketch, archival images, and complex memories and family relationships, Arthur Lins uses different staging references to compose a small tropical tale about complex creation process.

Childhood friends Jacques and Enzo share a passion for the danger of free diving. Professional diver Jacques opted to follow in the footsteps of his father, who died at sea when Jacques was a boy; to the bewilderment of scientists, Jacques harbors a remarkable ability to adjust his heart rate and breathing pattern in the water, so that his vital signs more closely resemble that of dolphins than men.
