Marianne is a dancer at the Lilla Teatern. The theatre has financial troubles and its existence is under threat. Marianne falls in love with Stig Broman, the owner of the theatre. After a few problems, the actors manage to set up a show, with Marianne as leading lady, which will decide the fate of the theatre.

Émilie Jolie

Released as part of a series of WB shorts under the collective title of "Technicolor Specials" (WB production number 2003) this short most likely holds the WB house record for a 20-minute film containing footage from the most different titles in their inventory. It's theme of a singing guided tour of the lot (and some of the footage) is from 1944's "Musical Movieland", the former title holder, and it contains clips from 1939's "Quiet, Please" and "Royal Rodeo"; "Sunday Roundup" from 1936 and 1940's "The Singing Dude." Pieces from "Out Where the Stars Begin" and "Swingtime in the Movies" may also be used, but it's hard to tell since they all tend to run together and show up in a lot of places during the 1940's Warner shorts. Its title of "Movieland Magic" is most apt considering the sleight-of-hand performed by the WB Shorts and Sales departments in once again selling the same film clips for the 3rd, 4th or more times.

A young graduate of a Musical teacher's training school, having got an allocation to one of the collective farms of Nonblack Soil Zone, she goes there with one desire return to city as soon as possible and continue her career of pop singer. Villagers are rejoiced by arrival of a new club head, and do all their best to make her stay: give good lodging, telephone, color TV-set, and even accordion. And the farms head (B.Nevzorov) is not intended to let her go before the set date, moreover, he falls in love with her. A skeptical modern city girl, mixing with villagers and step-by-step delving into their routine life and chores, gets filled with local beauties and engulfing feeling towards a young farms head, starts hesitating.

Four stories intersect in a zentai meeting hotel, the sexual discipline, and fetish whose practitioners wear lycra suits and rub each other. Mother and daughter recognize each other in a ritual, a man does not decide what to wear, a coach loses his authority and two lovers never see their faces.

From the producers and singer of Easter Egg Mornin' and Lumpkin the Pumpkin comes the story of Snuffy, one of Santa's older helpers, slating for retirement, and the younger elves think he is obsolete. However, when all the other elves fall asleep after a visit from the sandman (Bobby Goldsboro), Snuffy, Gilbert the penguin and the reindeer finish the toys and save Christmas.

Gonzo and Rizzo host a presentation in the Muppet Theater of six fairy tales performed by the Muppets.
