For the past two months, we dedicated out lives to documenting the life of Sam. Every human on a day to day basis encounters a "Sam", a peculiar somewhat unpredictable seemingly valueless person, and what you would probably refer to as "douchebag" or "arrogant prick". We found ourselves unknowingly siding with society until we took the time to really observe and realize the childhood trauma and drug abuse that contributed to creating this flawed but valuable human being.

Few other sports encompass the theatrical displays of human struggle, strength, and violence that have come to define boxing. This documentary that takes you inside the sport of boxing, exposing its life changing effects on the fighters and their families.

Chuck Wepner is a liquor salesman from Bayonne, N.J., who drives a Cadillac with “Champ” vanity plates. A former New Jersey State Heavyweight Boxing Champion, he took abuse from Sonny Liston, got his nose broken by Muhammad Ali, and inspired Sylvester Stallone to write “Rocky” which won three Academy Awards. Wepner was left out of the “Rocky” glory, and his career took turn after strange turn as he worked to stay in the spotlight: he went on to fight Andre the Giant as “The Assassin” and boxed a 900 pound bear. Twice.

So six months later, there was Arturo Gatti vs Micky Ward 2, which does not disappoint the expectations of the fans and was certainly another very exciting fight; this time Gatti manages to overturn the result and won deservedly.

The third and final fight between Arturo Gatti and Micky Ward was one of the best boxing fights of 2003 (fight of the year for Ring Magazine). Gatti had lost the first fight versus Ward, but then he won the second, two of the most spectacular fights of 2002.
