"Unleashed in Japan" is the first live album of the Hardrock veterans around Mike Portnoy, Billy Sheehan and Richi Kotzen. On "Unleashed in Japan" you can find four tracks, which can't be found on the debut, plus six songs of the debut, live recorded in Japan.

Filmed in Melbourne, Australia in 1984, this concert video is the only full length concert film of the band at this time. A stunning concert with the band in incendiary form, the setlist mixes then new tracks from the 'Perfect Strangers' album with favorites from the early seventies culminating in the brilliant 'Smoke On The Water' finale.

While the dvd is mainly split evenly between the Blackmore years and Morse years, both are equally outstanding.
