A short film tribute about the musician Meat Loaf, released by his family in 2023 on the anniversary of his death.

From Bucharest to the remote villages of the Carpathians, from the national composer Georges Enesco to his contemporary heirs, a journey in the footsteps of Romanian musical traditions. “Romanian popular music forms an imposing whole, a precious treasure from which our composers draw their inspiration,” said Georges Enesco, trained on the violin by a Gypsy teacher. Punctuated by quotes from the composer and interpretations of his works, this documentary sets out in search of a treasure of many nuances, which continues to liven up village festivals and influence the young Romanian scene. From the scores of Dan Dediu, one of today's greatest composers, to the folk songs of the Maramures, a journey to discover this fascinating mosaic of musical cultures.

The opera begins at the end. The woman has just experienced a terrible accident, a crash of both the computer and her brain to which the computer is connected. The first two parts take us through the reconstruction of her story, the use of her body, speech, memory and the data banks and central brain of the computer. She shares genetic, organic material with the computer as the computer replaces parts of her body with its cybernetic material. The relationship is unclear to both of them. Where reality exists is in a floating multi-layered network of hallucinations, fractured memories and her externalized inner life viewed on the computers screens, the film itself. She is physically present, witnessing and participating in the story on the stage, the computer, consisting of screens, sounds, musical icons and a glass central unit on which the woman performs her rituals of reconstruction. The story unfolds to her and to us simultaneously in a quest to understand what caused the accident...

Four pianists take part in the preliminary round of an international piano playing competition. Each has a story that is different and unique. One is a former child prodigy who stopped playing when her mother died. One is a Julliard student. One is a new face and yet comes recommended.

Four talented alien musicians are kidnapped by a record producer who disguises them as humans. Shep, a space pilot in love with bass player Stella, follows them to Earth. Reprogrammed to forget their real identities and renamed The Crescendolls, the group quickly becomes a huge success playing soulless corporate pop. At a concert, Shep manages to free all the musicians except Stella, and the band sets out to rediscover who they really are -- and to rescue Stella.

Jack Osterman is smitten with a woman on a park bench, and cannot stop saying the word "Umpa" for the rest of the film, which involves his treatment by a doctor and his singing and dancing temptress nurses. Somewhere between utterly silly and consummately brilliant with its fully rhyming dialogue, "Umpa" is the catchword for that enduring urge that makes people do ludicrous things with absolute determination.

He secretly starts taking dancing lessons to be near her, and then over time discovers how much he loves ballroom dancing. His wife, meanwhile, has hired a private detective to find out why he has started coming home late smelling of perfume.
