The Life of Chris Gaines, Garth Brooks appeared as Chris Gaines in a television "mockumentary," a version of VH1's seminal cable classic Behind the Music, featuring a totally made-up tale that just may be the greatest rock n' roll documentary ever made. This piece of art has everything that makes the story of being a rockstar fucking cool. It has childhood trauma, record label trauma, death, disfigurement, a plane crash, a car crash, sex addiction, redemption, a house fire, random unexplained commentary from Billy Joel, and more sex addiction.

In this strikingly modern 2016 production from the Zurich Opera House, Tcherniakov transposes the opera’s intrigue from forest and castle to living room and psychiatric office. The love story of the original work remains riveting, but Tcherniakov brings an unexpected psychological element to his mise en scène, with Prince Golaud as a psychiatrist and Mélisande as a young woman suffering from PTSD. Kaj & Andrea: Syng bare med i vilden sky

One winter, Yu Jun-sang and Lee Jun-hwa, the two members of a band “J and Joy 20” get on a flight to Japan with an impulse to film a music video. They set off to Japan, without any actors or themes prepared and armed only with an ambitious plan to make a song for spring. As Japanese musical actor Nakagawa Akinori and two Korean actors Kim So-jin and Jung Soon-won gather together, a joyful production of the music video unfolds on a snowfield with Mount Fuji in the background.

During a high school music exam to assess the singing abilities of students, Songju shows off his rapping skills despite the blackboard in the background stating that pop and rap songs are not allowed. The teacher gives him an F on the test without saying anything. In the meantime, on one side of the classroom, Juyeon looks happy, watching Songju rap. He loves hip-hop as much as Songju does although these two come from completely different backgrounds. Songju is a troubled student living in a multi-house home in a less developed area while Juyeon is an exemplary student living in a fancy apartment in a rich village. Despite differences in grade, personality, and background, they decide to form a hip-hop duo called LIMECRIME.

Silêncio - Vozes de Lisboa (Silence - Voices of Lisbon) is a documentary set amongst the backdrop of a gentrified Lisbon. Following the footsteps of Céline - a local foreigner who has lived in Portugal for 20 years - we are introduced to Ivone Días and Marta Miranda, two female singers from different generations who fight for the survival of their art and their community. Their common language is Fado, a traditional style of music that talks about the daily struggle of living. With the lyrics of fado songs taking us through the story, the film explores the relationship between fado singers and the ever-changing world around them.

FIG TREES is a documentary opera about AIDS activists Tim McCaskell of Toronto and Zackie Achmat of Capetown as they fight for access to treatment drugs. Documentary interviews, speeches, press conferences and demonstrations are sampled, taken apart, and set to music, replayed this time as operatic scenes. A surreal fictional narrative is intercut with the stories of their struggles against government and the pharmaceutical industry. In this fictional world, Gertrude Stein decides to write a tragic opera about Tim and Zackie and their saint-like heroism. She kidnaps them, transports them to Niagara Falls, and forces them to sing a series of complicated avant-garde vocal compositions. However, when Zackie ends his treatment strike and starts taking his pills, Gertrude realizes that there will be no more tragedy, and thus, no more opera.

On April 30th 2013 millions of Dutch people dressed in their national colour oranje gathered all around the Netherlands with Amsterdam being the capital of the celebrations. Of course the coronation of Willem Alexander and his wife Máxima was the occasion and a highlight of that unforgettable day was a very special concert that André Rieu, the undisputed King Of The Waltz, gave in honour of the royal couple and the Queen for 30 years, Beatrix. On the world renowned Museum Square in the heart of the city André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra entertained the audience for almost 100 minutes making the city waltz and swirl. The program features classics like Time To Say Goodbye , Don t Cry For Me Argentina and of course the title André wrote for the new King, the Coronation Waltz .

Live at Budokan is a live release by American crossover thrash band Stormtroopers of Death.
