A young man is forced to confront his limitations, face the ghosts of the past in order to unite a fractured community and realise his dream of leading his town's Christmas Choir Band to former glory.

The film tells the story of Murat and Helga, Turkish agents fighting against German spies during World War II. Helga's father, Alex, is a German spy who hates Turkey. Helga, who was born and raised in Turkey, does not share her father's views. After Alex's death, Murat, acting on orders from Turkish intelligence, is tasked with enlisting Helga to uncover the Germans' plans regarding Turkey. Helga is to marry Hans, who has taken Alex's place, thereby enabling her to learn the Germans' plans. The love between Helga and Murat will complicate this mission.

Hicran works as a cloakroom attendant at a nightclub. On New Year's Eve, after a year filled with poverty and hardship, she meets Orhan, a flirtatious young man. Orhan finds true love in this beautiful and innocent girl and brings order to his aimless life. However, Orhan's older brother does not approve of him being with a poor girl. At St. Anthony's is a 1933 Czechoslovak film operetta directed by Svatopluk Innemann. The Moravian country comedy, also known as At St. Anthony's, tells the story of a hunt for grooms and is based on the popular operetta of the same name by the Špilar–Mírovský duo.
