Le Miroir

An unnamed hermit praticing HAM radio slowly realizes he's being stalked by an alien life form.

After six years of being locked away at 'Easton Detention Centre' after brutally murdering one of his classmates, Jackson Pickering (Carson Queen) breaks out of captivity and hunts down his old friend group lead by Craig Forester (Marcus Curran) and Bradley Banks (Nathan McCurley) for sweet, bloody vengeance. All the while being on the run from officers Stanley Adams and Jimmy Reynolds (Logan Smith & Cassie McKecknie respectively). 'Break Out' is a black-comedic slasher made to be a tribute to both the spirit of old slasher horror flicks and the edge and violence of Troma Entertainment.

Isolated in a world without hope, he desperately searches for a way to escape that eternal torment. A fan-made short film, adapted from Harlan Ellison’s short story I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream.

This is an amateur student mood piece comprised of footage I've filmed with my Camcorder at uni over the course of the first half of 2023. The prompt given for this was 'belonging' and so I've gravitated it around the premise of navigating a place that you feel as though you don't belong in, to the point where you become detached and alienated from your own identity. - Toby.

A murder occurs in a small village, shocking the local community. The locals live in seclusion, disliking outsiders. However, the murder brings in a homicide detective who gradually uncovers the secrets behind the crime.

The film translates the lyrics of the Beatles' song into pictures using Lower East Side locations; pixillated sequences of images portray the nonmusical sounds.

The film follows a character facing a silent inner battle, struggling with the fear of speaking up and finding their voice.
