Foolish Girl

An outrageous road movie about The Old Man and his grandkids in a 24 hour race against time to stop a milky madman hell bent on killing his prized cow to save the world.

Featuring the voiceover of Sir Anthony Hopkins, this public information film from the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society starts out rather innocently with beautiful hand-painted animation. It describes how once a year a large group of pilot whales swim to a small group of islands known as the Faroe Islands.

Lee and Sonny are very close 11-year-old friends who are goaded by an older boy to break into a flat they think is uninhabited as an initiation to join his 'crew'. Their mission is to bring back something of value but what they find instead is an inert, probably dead, man inside. Lee and Sonny are forced to confront their naive notions of masculinity and codes of honour when the dead man turns out to be a wanted criminal in hiding.

A Corgi can certainly dream. Taking a break from the frequent antics his colleagues get him into, Bebop crew mate Ein envisions himself sipping a tropical beverage on the beach side and scuba diving with Edward amid a barrier reef.
