Ted, an unlikable office manager, is one day kidnapped by Jeremy, a bereaved recluse, and forced to play-act his dead brother David. Slowly gaining Jeremy's confidence, Ted discovers his captor's true intentions and makes a plan to escape.

Hand processed expired Kodak 7291, Camera: Beaulieu R16, Lens: Angenieux 12-120mm with +3 Diopter, Polarising filter for the clouds. Hand processed in C-41 chem using a Lomo UPB-1A tank. Still haven't mastered removal of the rem-jet anti-halation layer (thats all the white 'static' on the film). The film expired about 40 years ago.

A person performs routine tasks and relaxing activities to fight a troubling zeitgeist.

A cultural sciences professor named Sam has spent nearly two months buried in archival research on Remi Silva — a Lagos philanthropist of Afro-Brazilian descent whose life, on paper, reads as entirely ordinary. But the deeper Sam digs, the more the man refuses to stay ordinary. A cassette tape in Yoruba. A cryptic sealed letter. A symbol that keeps appearing where it shouldn't. When a young bookkeeper steps in for the absent librarian, what begins as small talk about belief and mythology starts to quietly destabilize everything Sam thinks he knows. *Static* is a slow-burn mystery about the limits of skepticism — and what happens when a man of reason comes face to face with what he cannot explain.

A fertile and prosperous village called Kalidasa, was suddenly hit by an epidemic for no apparent reason. Death continues to periodically attack village residents. It is suspected that this plague was caused by a Leak, a witch-like practitioner of black magic named Nyi Rimbit. As suspicions mount, the village head assembles a team of 3 loveable dunces to head up an investigation into the mysterious plague to rid the village of evil and restore prosperity once and for all.
