Diego is a fan of Santiago Wanderers who has made a fundamental refuge for his life out of the club he loves. Through the popular soccer lessons he learned from his father along with his memories, loves, and conflicts, Diego reflects on how this sport has been contaminated by disrespect, machismo, and lies, but he can't find a way to do something about it until a particular situation drives him crazy.

Four friends visit a rural locality of Chile, are brutally attacked by a man and his son. After not finding help in the town, they decide to confront these men with the help of a pair of policemen. But in this way, they will discover that their attackers have in their blood the direct legacy of the darkest period of Chilean history and will have to face the most brutal enemy.

This short film was inspired by the story told in the prose written by Jia Pingwa to memorize his father in 1989. Set on the North Shannxi Loess Plateau, the story tells about two boys trying to sell a pig, the only valuable property of the poor family, for food. However, things go wrong. The film was artistically designed to present the spectacular and broad scenery of the Loess Plateau as well as the simple life of the people. This is a black humor about the difficult years in the northwest of China in 1970s.
