Survivor Series (2005) was the 19th annual Survivor Series PPV. Like the 2009 event, the event featured the Hell in a Cell match. The main event featured Kane defending the World Heavyweight Championship against The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match. Randy Orton also had to defend his title, the WWE Championship, in a Hell in a Cell against Sheamus. In a special stipulation match, Wade Barrett fought John Cena with the caveat that Cena would join the Nexus if he lost and The Nexus would disband if Barrett lost. Daniel Bryan defended the US Championship in a triple threat submissions count anywhere match against The Miz and John Morrison.

The main event was a singles match for the WWE Championship with Randy Orton defending the title against Wade Barrett with the stipulation that if Barrett lost, John Cena would be fired. A second main event was a Buried Alive match for the World Heavyweight Championship between defending champion Kane and The Undertaker.

Hell in a Cell (2017) is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event and WWE Network event, produced by WWE for the SmackDown brand. It will take place on October 8, 2017 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. It will be the ninth event under the Hell in a Cell chronology.
