With Tropicana, Holiday on Ice takes everyone on an American journey: from the streets of New York, to the energetic colourful beach clubs. Imposing orchestral arrangements switch from Latin-pop and dream ballads to swinging Big Bang rhythms and Rock ‘n Roll feelings of the fifties.

The show Festival is a grand celebration – inspired by the very best Holiday on Ice moments of the past, and full of stunning, multi-coloured contemporary scenes. Proceeds from RISE will be used to further the mission of U.S. Figure Skating's Memorial Fund, which was established on Feb. 23, 1961, as a living legacy of those who lost their lives. The film's Feb. 17, 2011, premiere coincides with the 50th anniversary of the tragedy.
