Documentary about atheist Madalyn Murray O'Hair who, for 30 notorious years, successfully challenged God in America, and was brutally murdered in the summer of 1995. O'Hair had come to occupy a special place in the American psyche since her 1963 campaign which ended compulsory prayer in US schools after a Supreme Court action on behalf of her son William. Lending equal narrative weight to the experiences of the center’s groundbreaking surgeon Dr. Jess Ting and those of his diverse group of patients, BORN TO BE perfectly balances compassionate personal storytelling and fly-on-the-wall vérité. It’s a film of astonishing access—most importantly into the lives, joys, and fears of the people at its center.

Produced at the request of the Executive Committee of the People's Council of the capital, "Our Neighborhood" follows the story of a locomotive mechanic and his neighbors, recently assigned to the newly constructed buildings in Floreasca. Set against the backdrop of the emerging residential areas, the film's narrative structure retains the spirit of socialist realism but is strongly influenced by the optimism and cosmopolitanism of the 1960s. Accompanied by rhythmic swing tunes, we follow the characters of this documentary, representatives of the working class, both at their workplaces and in the new, bright and airy apartments, integrated into the logic and aesthetics of the new socialist neighborhood.

The human race is drifting further and further away from its real roots and from what being a human is really about. The speed of development has increased to a state where humans have a hard time keeping up. We find ourselves in a situation where both our own and the planets’ wellbeing is severely threatened. As a last resort human is relying on faith to find the balance. Is faith the last defense of man or is this world guided by forces greater than us? Get along the journey of Dr Haris Gershom whose invention of the 'Harishophone' made wonders around the globe for its therapeutic impact. He is known to be the only individual in the world capable of producing three octaves on a saw that have a healing effect.

On May 31, 2007, hundreds of armed men, from the Federal Police, in a true war operation, pulled out of the factories, the members of the Factory Commission elected by the workers, swearing in a federal intervener. The workers and their leaders talk about their struggles, day to day in the occupied factories, the reduction of working hours from 44 to 30 hours per week, the agreement with the Chavez government of Venezuela to build a house factory, Petrocasa . They also narrate the terror during the intervention, all kinds of humiliation to which they were exposed, anguish and perspectives.

Georg is an Austrian retiree whose mother witnessed the crash of an Allied B-17 near their home during World War II. When he takes up metal detecting to find the wreckage, a growing fascination leads him to embark on a heartfelt mission, not only to research the backgrounds of the American crewmembers who parachuted off the plane into enemy territory, but to locate their descendants, to bring them to his Austrian town on the 75th anniversary of the crash, to introduce them to the townspeople who helped their fathers, and to unite his town in remembrance. It’s a story of empathy, resilience, and the enduring power of human connection.
