Marquez outboxed Pacquiao for the remainder of the bout which was ended in a controversial, split-decision draw. The final scores were 115–110 for Márquez, 115–110 for Pacquiao and 113–113. Consider this fight as the warm up to Pacquiao's next opponet, Erik Morales. Never really challenged by the Thai boxer, Pacquiao picked and choose when and what to throw before finally sending Fahsan out for the evening with a left uppercut TKO in the 4th round. In fact the fight was so lopsided that Pacquiao was able to scored four knockdowns altogether in the bout. None the less it was a special evening since Pacquiao was able to win the fight in front of 25,000 of his own countrymen and women.

On December 15, 2012 in Houston, Texas, USA, Nonito "Filipino Flash" Donaire, Jr. successfully retained the WBO and The Ring super bantamweight titles against the Mexican Legend Jorge "Travieso" Arce via third round knock out 2:59 into the round. Donaire floored Arce once in the second round, and once in the third round, before the knockout that ended the match.

Rafael Concepción of Panama then replaced Cazares as Donaire's opponent for the Interim WBA Super Flyweight title, which headlined the card titled "Pinoy Power 2." Because Concepcion failed to weigh within the super flyweight limit (115 lbs.), only Donaire, who made weight successfully, can win the title. Donaire won the bout via unanimous decision.
