Eddie Bravo Invitational 8: The Middleweights was a submission-only grappling tournament of 16 middleweight (185 lb) male entrants. The event took place on 11th September 2015, and included a special super-fight between UFC veteran Liz Carmouche and Maria Henderson.
The seventh EBI submission, and grappling event shown on 16 July 2016 at The Orpheum Theatre, Los Angeles, the second Invitational event to be streamed live on UFC FIGHT PASS. This time around, it's the featherweights turn to take center stage. This seventh edition of the Eddie Bravo Invitational will be crowning the promotion’s featherweight (145lbs / 65kg) division champion, a title currently held by Eddie Cummings. Although the open weight tournament (EBI 6) included big names of jiu jitsu’s international circuit, this featherweight event will have the popular tournament return to its origins in a recipe that rose the attention of the sport’s fans in previous showings, a mix of veteran grapplers, fairly unknown talent and rising stars of the submission only movement.

Quintet Ultra was a grappling team survival event held by Quintet on December 12, 2019 at the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas, USA. This event was based around teams representing four of the most notable MMA promotions: the UFC, Pride Fighting Championships, Strikeforce and World Extreme Cagefighting. Combatants were chosen based on how closely linked their careers were to those promotions.

Interpol officer Dickson Kwan is sent to Hong Kong to investigate in a fake passport forgery case and collaborates with officer Pau Sei and Lau Ting Kin. Due to different approaches on investigating, Dickson and Sei often get into conflicts. Later during an arrest operation, Dickson saves Sei's life and they forget about their bygones. Sei has a daughter Eva, who opposes his father to be a cop. Dickson falls in love with Eva and pursues her, however she does not like Dickson's dangerous profession and although she has feelings for him, she still rejects him.
In time-honored fashion, a couple of supporting players -- George Dolenz and Bill Kennedy -- found themselves elevated to starring roles in this minor Universal serial. They played Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers investigating the murder of a miner. The story, of course, was less important than speed and action, which directors Ray Taylor and Lewis D. Collins delivered in typical slap-dash Universal style. Starlet Daun Kennedy did not make much of an impression as the imperiled leading lady, and former star Robert Armstrong (of King Kong fame) was wasted in a subordinate role. Rondo Hatton, a non-actor whose grotesque appearance (caused by acromegaly, the so-called "Elephant Man" disease) was tastelessly exploited by Universal in the '40s, appeared as one of the outlaws.
