MUSE: Live At Reeperbahn Festival 2018

In 1983, film student Rich Murray was handed $20,000 in a brown paper bag by a mobster. The money was for directing his first music video for a virtually unknown Philly rocker named Alan Mann. Mann's song "Christmas on the Block" became a Philly radio staple and Murray's music video, against the odds, became the first indie video to play on MTV. This experience, tainted by Mann's tragic passing, remained with Murray through the years. With "Fear of Heights," Murray travels back to that time to answer some nagging questions and to illuminate the dark, mysterious life and music of Alan Mann.

Four talented alien musicians are kidnapped by a record producer who disguises them as humans. Shep, a space pilot in love with bass player Stella, follows them to Earth. Reprogrammed to forget their real identities and renamed The Crescendolls, the group quickly becomes a huge success playing soulless corporate pop. At a concert, Shep manages to free all the musicians except Stella, and the band sets out to rediscover who they really are — and to rescue Stella.

A music video for the song För kärlekens skull by the Swedish singer-songwriter Ted Gärdestad, consisting of sequences with both actors and the brothers Ted and Kenneth Gärdestad in Paris, inspired by the mention of a Cathedral in the lyrics. The music video took approximately one week to film. The song is the only new song written for his compilation album "Kalendarium 1972 - 93", for his comeback after 13 years.

"A dead infant clutching a ring with an inscription the teenager cannot read" is the stuff of dreams. The following stories in the show may or may not shed light on the inscription. Questions remain unanswered. The Residents study death, not as a horrific end, but as the ultimate question that we all ask while wondering if any of it is even real. Public Image Limited provide a monumental live performance at London's Heaven, showcasing tracks from the new album.
