If a machine would possess a soul it might be a beach. Every single sand corn symbolizes a data-set of a memory captured in the world wide web saved deep down in the ocean. From there the bytes condense and finally reach the cloud. But how would it feel for a machine to see the glitch waves and feeling the shore stones on its case? What would be the colours of the coastline? Glitching Offshore tries to portrait the soul of an AI and the universe behind it. Glitching offshore, alike drifting away as in a psychogeographical dérive (furthermore, away from the "rive": bank) where human intentional yet chaotic action is substituted by pixels' stirrings of the soul.

Static Discharge is composed of abstractions created from signal interference. The picture frame is continuously disrupted, as textured lines of feedback distort any form of representation. The flickering movement appears as if fed by an electric current with a faulty conductor - the electronic waves seem to split and repeat themselves without fully transmitting. This is a composition of video noise that creates pulsating tension, a s electricity grinds with flesh, revealing the harsh beauty inherent in a mechanical medium.

Descontrole

Someone wanders through a house while fleeing from a mysterious presence. Their body dissolves on-screen, and their mind is invaded by a strident gray noise.

Ego Death

A "glitch" is a malfunction in a system. Glitch art takes these errors and uses them as moments of aesthetic revelation. Interruptus is a glitch film, comprised completely of strategically halted downloads of digital videos. These broken files are then transformed into a stunning fugue of abstract texture. An editor finds herself editing a Halloween video late at night, while her boss, a cinephile YouTuber, pressures her to finish the job quickly. Meanwhile, paranormal events begin to occur that try to sabotage the editor.
