The Stranger In The Street

Based on the short story by Stephen King, follow the morning delivery routine of the neighborhood's favorite milkman.

A permission, an eternal return, it is in this suspended context, out of space and time, that the gathering of three young men happens, under the bright and suffocating lights of the bank district and the luxury boutiques of the city of Geneva, a symbol of a cold and radical social cleavage. Between masculinity, violence and ethic, everything seems to be made in order for the friends to deconstruct the universe, alone, at the top of the world.

When a single mom, facing eviction, is offered a night’s work, she unsuccessfully seeks a babysitter for her two small children. Desperate, she reaches out to the last person she wants to ask for a favour.

As two brothers watch a news cast about extra terrestrial beings, the older brother uses the opportunity to make an analogy about their world being invaded by unwelcome visitors.

“It Came from the Tap” is a 4-minute film made with a group of friends for a local 48-hour horror film competition called “Lost Weekend”. For this challenge we were given three rules: we had to include a mask as a prop, the following line of dialogue: “Is this politically correct?”, and lastly, we had to pull a horror sub-genre out of a hat to allow for a different sub-genre for every team. We pulled “Creature-Feature”. The film was eventually screened in one of our local cinema’s.
