Along the way they hypothesize some slapstick hijinks in a balloon factory, and save the day through a hypothetical Sonic Virtual Reality battle. A real treat!

When Kirk, a top roller-blader, discovers that he has bone cancer in his leg, his pleasant affluent life is shattered. Even though amputation provides the best chance for survival; to him, losing skating means the end of life. His friends cannot cope with his condition, but his hospital isolation is relieved by Marty - a street kid survivor who was found dying of leukemia. Marty bullies, taunts, and challenges Kirk, until he begins to climb out of his depression. Marty seems afraid of nothing and, knowing she will die, wants to experience everything.

When Brink discovers his family is in financial trouble, he goes against the wishes of his parents and his friends and joins Team X-Bladz. Brink tries to lead a double life but will be able to pull it off?

Shin-dong, the protagonist of the film, is helplessly living a repetitive and monotonous life, and is forced to find a new place to rent immediately by his landlord's unilateral notice. Unable to afford to move, his friend tells him that renting out a part of the house will complicate his rights and making it impossible for the landlord to evict him. Encouraged by his friend's advice, Shin-dong puts up an ad for rent. And when a strange newlywed couple shows up who want to live in the bathroom, Shin-dong impulsively invites them in.

Dipock, having completed his B.A. course, decides to pursue higher studies, contrary to his father's wishes. His friends ask him to stand for elections much to the anger of Sunil, a member of the opposition party and son of the area M.L.A. After refusing to withdraw his name from the candidates list, Sunil and others torment Dipock. They kill his father and he is separated from his girlfriend Namita who later marries Aloke, a police officer. The rest of the film depicts the fight of Dipock against his enemies in order to lead a peaceful life.

The Inkwell Clown goes for a balloon ride. Later, Max's studio is filled with so many balloons that it floats away.

Les Dogs are the band playing in a large marquee to celebrate the wedding of Geoffrey and Angela. During the reception, the fathers of the groom and bride exchange insults and a gun battle ensues in which many guests - and Les Dogs - are casualties though the happy couple escape. Victor, who has wandered in on the scene, is asked to take wedding photographs and has a series of dreamlike fantasies all based around his infatuation with Angela.
