Marty bullies, taunts, and challenges Kirk, until he begins to climb out of his depression. Marty seems afraid of nothing and, knowing she will die, wants to experience everything.

Before they can exit, however, Dr. Sam cajoles them into a high stakes dart game, which leads to them accidentally popping the gender revealing balloon all over Max, humiliating him publicly, and causing Dr. Sam to lose a critical piece of software, so now he too wants the Pompano Boys dead.

It turns out that trumpet player Herb Alpert is the only other performer listed in the credits who is actually there in person. The others appear in clips, some from their own U.S. Savings Bonds spots, others from unidentified movie or TV appearances. Singer Barbara McNair is shown entertaining U.S. troops in Viet Nam, and the youth group The Young Americans also sings.
