During the French Revolution, a young aristocrat finds an almanac in a book store which contains the prettiest and strangest prostitutes living in Paris.

Young Amelia learns from her mother Magda that she was adopted as a baby. Her biological parents are from Ireland. When Magda dies of a heart attack shortly afterwards, Amelia feels that nothing is keeping her in Germany anymore. However, it is already the autumn season and they do not have much food stored for the winter. The pilgrims then learn to plant crops during the spring season and celebrate a big feast toward the onset of the autumn season or fall. This is their first Thanksgiving celebration.

In addition to numerous side characters, the gang is complemented by the neighboring pervert Rantala (Ville Lähde). The everyday life of men is filled with extreme pigging, which includes violence, substance abuse, perversion and fucking as the most essential part.
