A spiritual, bloody tale of revenge from beyond the grave! A woman (Kenyon Page) who is in a hit and run accident and left for dead by numerous witnesses, calls upon the avenging spirit of Lady Midday to wreak havoc on the guilty.

The plot is the embodiment of everyday belief about the impact of a certain evil force on a person. The action develops in a peasant environment.

The story follows the life of Katyusha and is based upon the legend of Baba Yaga, a ferocious old lady with magical powers.

In one, an actor (Tom Harrison) in a mummy's costume mistakenly wreaks havoc as he races to the hospital for the birth of his child. Another centers on the zany antics of a family dog, while a third follows Walter Poindexter (Sydney Lassick) a man with a magical remote control. Lastly, the embodiment of Guilt (Dom DeLuise) goes on vacation, and falls for Love (Loni Anderson).

Four tales are compiled from the popular television series. After a death row inmate (Patrick Swayze) is struck by lightning, he discovers he's received the Christ-like ability to heal others, prompting a race to save him from the electric chair. An author (Sam Waterston) is haunted by an apparition in mirrors. A psychic (Gregory Hines) reads the mind of a serial killer but doesn't know which member of his audience the thoughts come from. A painter (Harvey Keitel) mourns his wife's death.

Two tales from the TV series: One has a cartoonist gunner (Casey Siemaszko) in a doomed B-17; the other, a bad teacher (Christopher Lloyd) and black magic.

Quo Vadis

Lieutenant Willis returns home from France, where he was an aviation ace, to find that his father has been falsely jailed for the murder of Judson Blair.

Bruce Torrence is an aviator and member of the secret service. His rival for the hand of Zella Wingate is Juan Lascelles, a drug smuggler. To get rid of Torrence, Lascelles loosens a wheel on one of his planes, but Zella is the one who goes up in it. Torrence goes up in another plane and attaches a fresh wheel to Zella's plane. In spite of his efforts he later finds her in Lascelles' arms.

Young Vova summons the wizard and asks him to find a friend who looks like him. So a man appears in the apartment, both in appearance and in character, similar to Vova.

Five years ago, when the fevers swept through town, so did the rituals, so did the fear. The fevers were bad. It took most of the towns folk. The towns and villages were much bigger then.
